As the former vocalist of the legendary band COLOR, Dynamite Tommy a.k.a. “Godfather of Visual Kei” is known to be the major influential force in the creation of the music genre and culture "visual kei". He founded record label “Free-Will” and has produced international rock sensation DIR EN GREY. His affiliated labels include artists such as BugLug, DOG inThePWO, Blu-BiLLioN, Arlequin, Pentagon, MERRY, Baroque, Dangan No Limit, LEZARD and A9 (Alice Nine). He has also produced bands Phantasmagoria and Kamaitachi that are no longer active, as well as Miyavi and the GazettE. In addition to his vast influences in the music scene, Dynamite Tommy has also branched out into fashion, being tied to lines such as DIRT; produced by Toshiya of DIR EN GREY and Komachi2266531DarkLolita; a gothic-lolita style fashion brand for plus size women. He has also produced the anime version of “Grappler Baki”, directed film “Attitude” and wrote the screenplay for film “Oresama” staring Miyavi. As an avid soccer fan; Dynamite Tommy has obtained The Football Association Official Coaching License Level 2 and has founded “UEFA SF Academy”; an international soccer school for kids.
